Jim Bruckbauer is the Transportation Program Director for the Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities. He oversees Groundwork’s projects related to passenger rail, livable neighborhoods, roads, parking, and housing. Right now, his work is focused on the effort to re-establish passenger rail service to northern lower Michigan—a project that could increase development in train-stop towns all along the route, shrink traffic, reduce pollution and help Michigan businesses recruit and keep talent.
