Monica Jewell was raised to leave every place better than she found it. As executive director, Monica utilizes innovative and collaborative partnerships to advance the mission of the Pennies from Heaven Foundation, addressing the greatest needs of communities in Mason County. She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in public policy and administration, with her doctorate of law from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She leads the foundation in convening local stakeholders, identifying best practices, and investing in place, always working to help make her place better. Her work spans multiple sectors, including providing access to basic needs, cradle-to-career education, housing, and community development.
