Grand Rapids commissioner Rosalynn Bliss will join a panel of city experts on Friday morning to share her insights on people’s changing expectations of where they live. She also has the distinction of belng elected as Grand Rapids’ first female mayor in August. Bliss serves on the city’s Legislative Team, chairs the Commission Fiscal Committee, and serves on a variety of boards in the Grand Rapids Area. In addition, she is the director of residential services at DA Blodgett-St. John’s, which provides emergency shelter and residential services for abused and neglected children.
Bliss has been recognized and honored locally as well as statewide for her commitment, dedication, and work in the field of child abuse and neglect, and her leadership in the community.
