Kristian Foondle is the Rail Safety Manager for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Office of Rail. Mr. Foondle is responsible for regulatory oversight of all 4800 public highway-railroad grade crossings as well as development and implementation of the annual Section 130 highway-railroad grade crossing priority program, to provide federal and state funds for warning device and related enhancement projects. Mr. Foondle has been with the MDOT Office of Rail for 22 years and has worked in public service and project management for over 30 years.
