Statewide Tactical Intelligence Unit Manager | Michigan State Police
Brittany received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Central Michigan University, and a master’s degree in criminology from the University of Cincinnati. She joined the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center within the Michigan State Police, in 2022 as a behavioral threat assessment and management (BTAM) specialist where she created Michigan’s first and only law enforcement advisory BTAM team. She currently serves as the BTAM subject matter expert for the Michigan State Police and is the manager of the expanded BTAM Unit. Brittany provides training to law enforcement throughout Michigan on threat assessment and management, as well as oversees public outreach and education projects. Brittany also serves as the Michigan Co-Chair for the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals – Great Lakes Chapter.
