The CapCon Annual Expo is the premier opportunity in Michigan to connect face-to-face with potential clients from every part of the state. Each spring, hundreds of local officials and state legislators gather in Lansing at one of the year’s most important networking and educational events for Michigan community service and infrastructure decision-makers. Your audience will include city managers, mayors, council members, municipal attorneys, and other key positions in city hall.

The exhibit hall is centrally located on the main thoroughfare to all meeting spaces and is a favorite hangout for networking throughout the conference.

“Choose Your Own Adventure” 2024 Game

CapCon attendees will engage with the nostalgic “Choose Your Own Adventure” game this year. Attendees will be given a choice of different color pathways to navigate the Expo Hall. Each path will take them on a different adventure through the hall, with a few surprises along the way. Which path will they choose? Will they complete all of them? Help decide by creating unique engagement points with the attendees!

10’ x 10’ Booth Package

• 8-foot back drape and 3-foot side drape
• Carpet
• 1 covered and skirted (3 sides) table (4-foot, 6-foot, or 8-foot) – there is a $25 fee for changing table size onsite)
• Two chairs
• 1 wastebasket
• 11″ x 17″ company name and booth number signage
• Two expo-only badges are included with each 10’ by 10’ booth. Badges must be finalized by March 4. Additional badges can be purchased for $40 each.
• Lights refreshments throughout expo hours
• Tuesday, March 12: welcome reception during the exhibit hall grand opening
• Wednesday, March 13: breakfast and lunch
• Basic electrical service (standard 20-amp outlet) should be ordered through the Michigan Municipal League for $75 using your booth reservation form. The deadline for ordering electrical service through the league is March 1, 2024. Refunds will not be given for unused or cancelled electricity.
• Opportunity to include company website, logo, and social media links on the web-based expo floor plan.

Confirmation

Each exhibitor will receive a confirmation email which will include space assignment, registration and billing summary, and housing information.

Information and forms to order additional furnishing; shipping and freight handling, forklift and labor service will be provided in the Exhibitor Kit from the expo service contractor, Art Craft Display.

DO NOT ship your display and/or materials directly to the Lansing Center. It WILL get lost and it WILL take several hours to locate once you are on site. Shipping must be arrange through Art Craft Display via the exhibitor Kit.
