Thank you for agreeing to participate as a presenter during the Michigan Municipal League Capital Conference at the Lansing Center in Lansing. This page contains information that will help your presentation at the conference run smoothly.
Communication
- Your contact at MML will be Liesl Green, Events Coordinator, lgreen@mml.org
- Prior to Capital Conference, you will receive several emails from Liesl with additional details.
Help us Promote Your Session
- Email Liesl a short bio and high definition photo that we can put on our website to promote your session.
- Fill out the Speaker Form
- Share with your social media network that you are speaking at our conference using the hashtag #mmlconf and tag MML @MMLeague
Presentation & Handouts
- The League will provide a laptop, LCD projector, screen, lectern, and mic for your presentation.
- In an effort to go green, the League does not print PowerPoint presentations or additional handouts. With your permission, we will add them to our website for attendees to access and print if they so choose.
- Please submit your presentation to lgreen@mml.org or upload to WeTransfer by March 2, 2018. This will allow our members enough time to access all handouts prior to Capital Conference and print if they choose.
Onsite Information
- Confirm your speaking time and room location on our website or in our program.
- Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the start of your session. Be sure to stop by our registration table in the main concourse and pick-up your name badge.
- Our IT staff will be available onsite to assist with technology needs for your presentation.
- Dress for Conference is business casual attire.
- Parking is available at the Lansing Center for $7 per entry per day, or at all city parking structures at a rate of $1 per half hour, with a maximum daily fee of $10.
- Remember to download the free Conference app for your smartphone or tablet from the Apple or Android store. The apps will include everything in the print program.
